Open Shape: - In which shape the start point and the endpoint are not connected or join together is open shape. 

Anything can came out from open Shape.

C, G, are open shape. 

Close Shape : - In which shape the start point and the endpoint are connected or join together is closed shape. 

Anything can't came out from close Shape.

D, O, Q are closed shape.

Angle : - The depration between two sides at joining point is called an angle.

(i) The angle marked in colour is the biggest angle.

Sol. The black angle marked is the biggest angle.

Sol. Yes, the angles marked with yellow are equal.

4. Straight Angle ( Like a Straight line)

6. Draw anything of your choice around the angle shown. Also write what kind of angle it is. The first one is done.

13. Can you guess how many degrees is the angle which is?

(i) ½ of a right angle .

Sol. We know that, the right angle is equal to 90^o.

Then, ½ of a right angle = ½ × 90^o

= 1 × 45

= 45^o

(ii) 1/3 of a right angle .

Sol. We know that, the right angle is equal to 90^o.

Then, 1/3 of a right angle = 1/3 × 90^o

= 1 × 30

= 30^o

(iii) 2 times of a right angle.

Sol. We know that, the right angle is equal to 90^o.

Then, 2 times of a right angle = 2 × 90^o

= 180^o
