Q. A man hired an Auto for 5 km. The fare was 10 for the first km and Rs. 3 for every subsequent km. He paid 50, for which the Auto driver said that it is not the correct amount. 

(i) Calculate the correct amount. 

(ii) Which value is being promoted by the Auto driver? 

Ans. Distance Travelled= 5km
           Cost for 1km= 10 rs.
           Cost for rest 4 km = 3*4= 12rs.
           Total Cost=10+12= 22 rs.
